Who it is for

Adults with ADHD or AuDHD who know what needs doing and get stuck at the very start.

What it does

  • Splits any task into three to five small steps.
  • If-then plans and a visible focus timer.
  • A breathing screen one tap away.
  • Optionally, task size adjusted to cycle phase or medication timing.

Business model

Free, with a Pro subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

KickMint is a productivity tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat ADHD, and it gives no advice about medication. Medication timing is only something you enter to plan your day.

What is hard to copy

AI on the phone, not in the cloud

The language model downloads to the phone once and then works offline. There is no account, no server for tasks to travel to, and no monthly model bill.

The most sensitive data stays on the device

Cycle and medication information is used only on the phone. That follows from how it is built, not from a promise in a privacy policy.

Claims that follow the research

Features backed by studies cite them. Where there is no study, the app says so: sound tracks without research are labelled popular but unresearched.

Why it is built this way

A claims check before submission

Before one version was submitted, every research label in the app was checked against its source, and sound tracks without a study were relabelled popular but unresearched.

The health data disclosure matches what the app reads

The Apple Health permissions, the privacy notice and the medical disclaimer all describe the same two data types the app reads, because consent for special-category data only holds when it describes what actually happens.
