What is hard to copy
Two taps, at the worst moment
The entry is made while the person is hot and uncomfortable. So the main screen is one button and a strength, and everything else, notes and triggers, stays optional.
The report is the product
An appointment lasts minutes. Weeks of entries become one page: how many episodes, day and night, how many woke the person, the most noted triggers, and what they wrote themselves.
Nothing leaves the phone
There is no account and nothing is uploaded. The App Store privacy label says data is not collected, so there is nothing to leak or to sell.
Why it is built this way
Health and fitness, not medical
The category was chosen deliberately: the app diagnoses nothing and says nothing about menopausal status, so it stays a diary rather than a medical device.
The daily action never hits a paywall
Logging is free and unlimited. The payment is for the doctor report and the deeper patterns, because those are what is needed before an appointment.
The name was picked for clearance
The first names were Emberly and Niora. Both were dropped after checking the App Store and company names, and Glasyn was picked because nothing else carries it.
